History of Lunn Antiques
Lunn Antiques began in 1976 at its current address in the New Kings Road selling Juliet Lunn' s vintage clothing which consisted of mostly Victorian and Edwardian, white lace petticoats, camisoles, nightdresses and blouses but also 1940s crepe dresses and 1920s beaded ones. The shop then began to include early 20th century table and bed linen and then Stephen Lunn came across its first lace collection which was all spread out on a table in Portobello road, much of which was 17th and 18th century. The shop now has its own antique lace outlet in the Admiral Vernon arcade on Portobello road on Saturday mornings
Lunn Antiques continues to search high and low for lovely old period clothing, linen and lace, but now a large part of their stock is their range of antique inspired white cotton nightwear, cotton and linen bed linen, children's wear and also velvet and silk clothing. Much of the bed linen is still hand embroidered with a drawn work hem.
We would like to thank you for visiting our website and we would like it equally much if you would visit our shop at 86 New Kings Rd, Fulham and our outlet in Portobello Rd in person.
